Prohibited goods
The following goods are excluded from transport via the ISG-Express platform. Booking such goods is not permitted and entitles ISG to refuse or return the shipment without notice at the customer's expense. See § 5 of our terms.
1. Cash and Valuables
The following are excluded: • Cash and cash substitutes • Securities, cheques, bills of exchange • Precious metals, gemstones, semi-precious stones • Jewellery and watches with a unit value exceeding EUR 1,000 • Works of art, antiques and collector's items with a unit value exceeding EUR 5,000 • Stamp collections, coin collections
2. Living Beings and Sensitive Goods
The following are excluded: • Live animals of any kind • Human remains and ashes • Human or animal organs • Fresh foodstuffs and highly perishable goods (unless expressly booked and agreed as refrigerated transport) • Plants and seedlings subject to quarantine requirements
3. Dangerous Goods and Weapons
The following are excluded: • Weapons and ammunition outside the legally permitted carriage • Explosives and pyrotechnic articles • Radioactive substances • Narcotics within the meaning of the BtMG (German Narcotics Act) • Dangerous goods (ADR) that are not marked as "dangerous goods" during the booking process and handed over with the prescribed accompanying documents • Materials containing asbestos without proper packaging and accompanying documents
4. Unlawful Goods or Goods Subject to Authorisation
The following are excluded: • All goods whose possession, carriage or dispatch contravenes German or European law • Stolen goods as well as goods of unlawful origin • Goods that are to be carried without the required export or import authorisation • Embargoed goods and dual-use goods without the corresponding authorisation
5. Obligation to Declare
The client is obliged to declare the contents of the shipment truthfully and completely during the booking process. The undeclared or incorrectly declared carriage of excluded goods entitles ISG to terminate the order without notice, to return the shipment at the client's expense and to assert claims for damages.
